The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

The story has Rick O’Connell’s (Brendan Fraser) son Alex (Luke Ford) discovering the tomb of The First Emperor of China, Emperor Han (Jet Li). This leads Rick and his wife Evelyn (Maria Bello) to travel to China, where an evil Chinese general causes the resurrection of the Emperor. The Emperor then tries to break an ancient curse set on him by the witch Zi Yuan (Michelle Yeoh) so he can use his magical powers to bring his army back to life to conquer the world. While the Emperor character is actually based on Qin Shi Huang of The Qin Dynasty, and The First Emperor Of China, the Emperor’s dynasty in the film is fictionalized as being The Han Dynasty

The Mummy Tomb of the Dragon Emperor: Emperor Han’s (Jet Li) Stunt Sword
This is a stunt sword made for Emperor Han’s (Jet Li) character in the 2008 action adventure film The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. The stunt sword, which was used during fighting sequences for the actors safety, can be seen throughout the film used by the Emperor as he and his cursed army are are resurrected! This sword features a hand crafted wooden blade with a highly detailed rubber guard and pommel. Additionally, the hilt section of the sword is wrapped with string and also features two rubber ring accents. The entire piece has been painted to resemble aged metal but due to heavy production use and distressing the majority of the handle’s paint has worn away. The sword measures approximately 32″ (81cm)…
