The year is 2047 and a rescue mission has been sent to salvage the Event Horizon, a ship missing for the last seven years. Only when the rescue team is in deep space, does Dr Weir, the ship’s designer, reveal that everything they know about the ship is a lie. He explains that that Event Horizon was designed for faster than light travel and that the ship disappeared after her gravity drive, her revolutionary engineering process, was engaged. After playing the ship’s onboard recording device, the sounds of terrified shrieks and wails hint at the nightmarish fate that befell the crew, a nightmare the rescue team will soon encounter themselves.

Event Horizon: Rotating SFX Zero-G Nailgun

This is an electronic rotating Zero-G nailgun from the chilling 1997 science fiction classic Event Horizon. Guns such as these were used throughout the film by various members of the rescue crew as they investigate a spaceship that disappeared into a black hole and has now returned…with something new on-board! The silver painted nailgun like weapon is made out of a combination of plastic and metal and features a revolving chamber, which rotates in one direction with a press of the trigger. The gun can be easily turned on and off by a switch located above the trigger on the right side. Additionally, each rounded section of the chamber’s back end illuminates red with the help of a small hidden switch located under one of the rotating chamber flaps. Due to production use this item displays some light wear and remnants of distressing but overall remains in very good condition. The gun measures approximately 15″ (38cm) tall, 20″ (51cm) from front to back and 5″ (13cm) at it’s widest point.
