Jennifer’s Body is a 2009 dark comedy and horror film written by Diablo Cody. The film, described as similar in tone to Heathers, will be directed by Karyn Kusama, and stars Megan Fox as the title character, Amanda Seyfried as her best friend Needy, and Adam Brody as the antagonist Nikolai. The movie is named after a song by Hole.

The film follows Jennifer (Megan Fox), a mean-girl cheerleader possessed by a demon who begins feeding off the boys in a Minnesota farming town. It is then up to her “plain Jane” best friend Needy (Amanda Seyfried) to kill Jennifer, escape from a correctional facility and go after lead singer Nikolai (Adam Brody) and his Satan-worshiping rock band responsible for the transformation.

Jennifer’s Body: Jennifer (Megan Fox) Demon Head Puppet

Picture

This is a Jennifer (Megan Fox) head puppetry mechanism created for the production of the 2009 teen horror comedy Jennifer’s Body. The item is made of soft silicone over a hollow fiberglass shell, there are metal rods coming from the top of the head and the bottom of the fiberglass which allow for the puppets head and mouth to be moved. The head has been crafted to resemble Jennifer in the scene where, possessed by a demon, she opens her mouth wider than normal to reveal ferocious sharp teeth right before killing her prey. The teeth are made of resin and are pointed, adding an extra level of evil detail to the piece. This item measures approximately 18″ x 17″ (46cm x 43cm) with the metal control rods sticking out an additional 9″ (23cm) from the bottom and 8″ (20cm) from the top of the piece.

“Boys in their twenties are a waste of time. They have nothing to offer conversationally; they’re immature. I feel like I have a better shot with someone in his thirties.”
“People assume that I’m really promiscuous. There’s a difference between being very sexual and being promiscuous. I’m not promiscuous. I’m extraordinarily sexual within a monogamous relationship. Nothing’s off-limits. But that has nothing to do with experiencing a lot of people. I’ve only had two boyfriends my whole life.”
“I don’t trust male intentions, usually, because they don’t approach me for intellectual conversation.”
“When you think about it, we actors are kind of prostitutes. We get paid to feign attraction and love. Other people are paying to watch us kissing someone, touching someone, doing things people in a normal monogamous relationship would never do with anyone who’s not their partner. It’s really kind of gross.”

Megan Fox Filmography:

“I think one day I could be a very good actress. But so far, I haven’t done anything. I’m not going to win an Oscar anytime soon. I’m not Meryl Streep.”

This is 40 / … as Desi

Five years after writer/director Judd Apatow introduced us to Pete and Debbie in Knocked Up, Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann reprise their roles as a husband and wife both approaching a milestone meltdown in This Is 40, an unfiltered, comedic look inside the life of an American family.

After years of marriage, Pete lives in a house of all females: wife Debbie and their two daughters, eight-year-old Charlotte (Iris Apatow) and 13-year-old Sadie (Maude Apatow). As he struggles to keep his record label afloat, he and Debbie must figure out how to forgive, forget and enjoy the rest of their lives…before they kill each other.

In his fourth directorial outing, Apatow’s new comedy captures what it takes for one family to flourish in the middle of a lifetime together. What emerges is a deeply honest portrait of the challenges and rewards of marriage and parenthood in the modern age. Through the filmmaker’s unblinking lens, we follow one couple’s three-week navigation of sex and romance, career triumphs and financial hardships, aging parents and maturing children.

The all-star cast portraying the family and friends, colleagues and neighbors represents an ensemble of actors from many of Apatow’s previous projects, as well as new comedy players who have been welcomed into the fold. They include John Lithgow, Megan Fox, Chris O’Dowd, Jason Segel, Melissa McCarthy, Graham Parker, Lena Dunham, Annie Mumolo, Robert Smigel, Charlyne Yi, Lisa Darr and Albert Brooks.

The stakes can’t get any higher for the two lovers as they try to elude the merciless killer who will stop at nothing to keep Lily for himself.
